When using blogs here at USF and other places, you are able to customize the look and feel by using Themes or templates that have been created by others. USF has a full set that you can use. If you do not like the ones provide and you are a little computer savey, you can upload your own. Templates are based on cascading style sheets and some more complicated programming, but to upload one to your account is not all that hard. This template was downloaded from WordPress.com and then I made a few edits. The picture you see was actually something I changed. This picture was taken by me on a vacation this past year to a wonderful part of Maine. We stayed near Millinocket at a place called Twin Pines which is located right on Lake Millinocket.

Today I have spent some time learning all the different options available in the USF blog program. It has been quite interesting and I have discovered that there is much to learn. However, to make basic posts and get started with your blog is really quite easy. I will write more later on just how this is done.

Welcome to the space where I explore new technologies
