I have also been examining how to use a wiki. There are wiki tools within Blackboard and also many available for use through the Internet in the public domain. I created one for us to work in for the workshop this week. Check it out. http://www.seedwiki.com/wiki/workshopwiki

Wikis are really a mixed blessing. On the one hand they provide a wide range of information. On the other hand, they sound a whole lot like encyclopedias. The authority is not always accurate either. I guess that is just the price you pay for having loads of free information.
