It has been a few days since an update and since so many of you are still reading this here is a quick one:
Scott is still working construction and enjoying everyday with little stress and NO call outs!!!!
Shauna is enjoying her new job even with the challenges of people management. Last week she went on her first remote campus visit with a short trip to Bethel, AK (check out more on Bethel here). You can see some picutres of her trip in the Gallery on the bottom right. It was a good trip.
As for our living situation, it is still temporary! We are working hard on finding a place and are considering putting an offer on a new condo in the city. For those of you from big places this means it is within 10 minutes of everywhere, not in the country or the hils, just in the “city”
This condo looks like it might be a good option for now. We should know more on that by the end of the week.
The weather here is good today. It seems to have finally stopped raining. I am adding pictures of the flowers and one of the Moose that is living in the campgorund with us to the gallery, so take a look. It is cold in the night and mornings (39 degrees when I drove to the showers this morning), but it is getting up into the mid 6o’s in the afternoons. The evenings are really nice and we are enjoying cooking out on the grill and have not worries
We hope to get some time to catch up with some of you via telephone this weekend, but if we miss you, remember that you are in our thoughts and you can always leave us a message here. Take care all! - S&S

Well, we are making propgress on the hunt for a house. Yesterday we put a bid on a pretty nice place in a good area. It needs work, but nothing that can not be done by Handy Man Scott
And nothing that will keep us from moving in.
We are now just waiting to hear if we get the house for what we want to pay. If so, the closing date is set for the end of the month and we will probably be moved in shortly there after. Once that is done we can get internte access. cable television and most importantly a washer and dryer! Heaven!
Well enough for today, we will keep you posted. - S&S

It has been a while since we reported on what is happening in our lives. So, I thought a quick accounting might be in order. There is a lot to tell, so I hope you have a few minutes.
Scott has been working for about three weeks now and recently got a 25% raise! He is having a ball working on remodeling a triplex. He especially enjoys that he is not on call! I think he has decided that a regular 8-5 job is just what he wants to do and he is enjoying learning more about the construction industry. You never know, he might just go into business with the guy he is working with and see how it goes.
As for me, work is going quite well. I am fitting in nicely I think. Last week there was a big celebration here in Fairbanks called “Golden Days”. The ladies in the office here had me arrested! For charity that is. You can check out pictures on the web site soon (Look for the Gallery link below on the right for pictures). I am taking a trip to Madison Wisconsin leaving this evening. Since I have a lot of flying and airport time, I thought I would use it to update the web site and prepare the photo albums from our trip, so they should be ready by the weekend. I will also include some pictures of our trailer, where I work, and miscellaneous Fairbanks pictures. I will be traveling a lot for my job, so I hope to be able to get lots of pictures up for you to see. My first Alaska trip will be to Bethel. There we will be working with instructors much the same way I have at USF.
Overall, we are doing just great! By the way, it seems I have lost my address book from my computer, so until I am able to get to the home computer (it is buried in the trailer), I have no email addresses or physical addresses for any friends and family. If you send me an email, I will add you back into my address book so I can communicate with you easier. Here is a good email address to use shauna@schullo.com and if you want to reach Scott, you can send to scott@schullo.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. Talk to you soon! – S&S
