It has been a few days since an update and since so many of you are still reading this here is a quick one:
Scott is still working construction and enjoying everyday with little stress and NO call outs!!!!
Shauna is enjoying her new job even with the challenges of people management. Last week she went on her first remote campus visit with a short trip to Bethel, AK (check out more on Bethel here). You can see some picutres of her trip in the Gallery on the bottom right. It was a good trip.
As for our living situation, it is still temporary! We are working hard on finding a place and are considering putting an offer on a new condo in the city. For those of you from big places this means it is within 10 minutes of everywhere, not in the country or the hils, just in the “city”
This condo looks like it might be a good option for now. We should know more on that by the end of the week.
The weather here is good today. It seems to have finally stopped raining. I am adding pictures of the flowers and one of the Moose that is living in the campgorund with us to the gallery, so take a look. It is cold in the night and mornings (39 degrees when I drove to the showers this morning), but it is getting up into the mid 6o’s in the afternoons. The evenings are really nice and we are enjoying cooking out on the grill and have not worries
We hope to get some time to catch up with some of you via telephone this weekend, but if we miss you, remember that you are in our thoughts and you can always leave us a message here. Take care all! - S&S

I found you guys!! I finally found un’s! Mel was trying to recall the e-mai address and every once in a while I would try different variations of it but never came up with anything! This evening while looking through my notebook I keep of items I need to remember I found the schullo.com address and wah-lah …. I found un’s !!!!! I have been reading for close to two hours …. wowowow what a journey you have been on and the people, animals and places you have encountered … literally the cliff-hanging roads with the breath taking views and the pictures I was able to access ….. simply beautiful. What a journey through life you are experiencing! Well, the only thing is … at that one bed/breakfast you had blueberry pancakes, pork and reindeer sausage — you really are not eating Santa’s reindeer descendants, that is like eating Bambi (almost!) I can’t believe I finally found you guys!! I am thrilled!! Don’t know how much I may write in this leave a reply space, although I could go on and on, but would rather go back and read more of your blog. So pleased to hear Scott is happy in the world of construction. I would assume construction cannot go on year round? I want to read more about Shauna so will close for now. Happy Alaskian living! Hey Patty! There are some places on our web site that are not workingproperly. It is not you
I have not had time to get everything workign well. Send us your email address and we will keep in touch. We will also continue to update the blog regularly as that take less time than creating the web pages. Glad to see that you found us! - S&S

You inspire me Shauna! I’ll have to creat a blog…after I gruduate! We saw lots of Moose in Maine last year. I think I prefer deer, they seem more gental, Moose are BIG!
We’re having rain too and there is a touch of fall in the air. Red tide has been terrible so that has limited our weekend boating. We’re heading to NC for some color and hiking in November.
