Hello frequent readers. This would be family and friends with a great interest in us or just too much time on their hands, but we make a good reason for procrastination. Sometimes it is even entertaining :-)

So, here is the latest update. The trees are changing colors and the temperatures in the early morning hours are getting chillier. We have had great afternoon weather into the 70s. Right now is a great time to be in Alaska! On the home front, we found a place to live! We are closing on a Townhouse on September 22nd and will soon be back to normal. Or at least as normal as Scott and I can be. I am going to try to put a picture of our new place here for you to see.

Then, if I have time I will load some really beautiful pictures that we took on a drive to Nennana this weekend that will show you the colors. You know the drill, look clear down on the bottom right for the link labeled “Gallery” to see the pics.

What is up with us… Scott is still having a great time working. He replaced an old roof last week and was feeling a bit old himself, but he survived. Now they are back inside working on electrical and sheetrock. He told me yesterday that he hurts, but it feels good. He signed up for the old timers hockey league here in Fairbanks and should start playing hockey again soon. This will make him happy. He has been having to live with very little sports as we have not had a good television setup. Once we get moved in, he will get to watch all the weekend sports again and I thik he will really aprreciate this special perk again.

As for me, my travel schedule is picking up a bit. Next week I visit the campuses in Nome (Click here for more about Nome) and Kotzebue (Click here for more about Kotzebue). Then in October I will visit the Bristol Bay campus in Dillingham (Click here for more about Dillingham) and some of the surrounding villages. The office management is settling down and I think that things are going to start moving smoothly. The staff may have other thoughts, but I am going to stay positive :-) I also started a new Yoga class this week. It really feels good to have tiem to do some of these things.

As for Thor, he is also doing well and I think he is going to love the cold weather.

I will let you all know as soon as we have a permanent location with an address, etc. In the mean time email if you have not so we can get your addresses. I have not unpacked the computer with all that on it yet, so send one our way and I will save your addresses it to my new address book. The best addresses to reach us are shauna@schullo.com and scott@schullo.com
