Hello frequent readers. This would be family and friends with a great interest in us or just too much time on their hands, but we make a good reason for procrastination. Sometimes it is even entertaining
So, here is the latest update. The trees are changing colors and the temperatures in the early morning hours are getting chillier. We have had great afternoon weather into the 70s. Right now is a great time to be in Alaska! On the home front, we found a place to live! We are closing on a Townhouse on September 22nd and will soon be back to normal. Or at least as normal as Scott and I can be. I am going to try to put a picture of our new place here for you to see.

Then, if I have time I will load some really beautiful pictures that we took on a drive to Nennana this weekend that will show you the colors. You know the drill, look clear down on the bottom right for the link labeled “Gallery” to see the pics.
What is up with us… Scott is still having a great time working. He replaced an old roof last week and was feeling a bit old himself, but he survived. Now they are back inside working on electrical and sheetrock. He told me yesterday that he hurts, but it feels good. He signed up for the old timers hockey league here in Fairbanks and should start playing hockey again soon. This will make him happy. He has been having to live with very little sports as we have not had a good television setup. Once we get moved in, he will get to watch all the weekend sports again and I thik he will really aprreciate this special perk again.
As for me, my travel schedule is picking up a bit. Next week I visit the campuses in Nome (Click here for more about Nome) and Kotzebue (Click here for more about Kotzebue). Then in October I will visit the Bristol Bay campus in Dillingham (Click here for more about Dillingham) and some of the surrounding villages. The office management is settling down and I think that things are going to start moving smoothly. The staff may have other thoughts, but I am going to stay positive
I also started a new Yoga class this week. It really feels good to have tiem to do some of these things.
As for Thor, he is also doing well and I think he is going to love the cold weather.
I will let you all know as soon as we have a permanent location with an address, etc. In the mean time email if you have not so we can get your addresses. I have not unpacked the computer with all that on it yet, so send one our way and I will save your addresses it to my new address book. The best addresses to reach us are shauna@schullo.com and scott@schullo.com

I am SO glad you guys finally found a home. It’s not nearly as wonderful as the one you left, but I am sure you’ll be happy to get out of the trailer and into a house just in time for winter.
Congratulations!

Oh boy! A washer and dryer should fit in this house and still have room for Scott too. Sounds like he has been working up a sweat and you need that washer and dryer close by. Glad to hear you are all enjoying it there. Sounds like you’ll get to see a lot of sites soon.
Take care and thanks for the update. Love from all of us. The Keenes!

I finally found the web page. I have tried to call you a few times on the cell, but I didn’t get you. I am so glad to hear that you have found a home. Mark, Ernie and I have been talking about were you may be living. I was worring about you since very cold weather is on its way soon. You should be closing on Matthew’s birthday so it will be easy for me to rememeber. We will miss you at his Birthday Party this Saturday. You know it was one of the regular get togethers.
Matthew , Chuck and I are doing well. We are still planning to come visit you. Chuck wants to come next summer and I want to give you more time to settle in and come the summer after that. Let us know what works best for you guys.
We miss you both.

Kathy is such a copy-cat. She saw my entry and couldn’t resist.
