This is just another quick update on what has been happening for the last month. I think the biggest thing is that our house may finally be sold. We had an offer about 3 weeks ago and they have now finished all the inspections and other necessary processes. We are flying to Florida next week to sign the closing papers. We are still keeping our fingers crossed, but it looks like it will finally be done.
Other things that have happened lately? Scott quit his job, then got another one within days. He was working in a job where most people did not like to work and there was no communication. The place was poorly run and they did not seem to want to make changes for the better. It was not a healthy environment. He is now working with Richard again in construction. Things are better there and they have lots of work to keep them busy.
As for me, I am doing well. I made to the half way point of Chemo. This past week they changed my drugs and I am supposed to be able to handle this next batch better. Only 11 weeks left to go. Overall, I am tired, but still doing most everything I did before.
We will be in Florida from Saturday the 21st of July until Sunday the 29th of July. We have a condo on the beach for the week. So, if you want to visit, just let us know and we will let you know where to find us.

Yippee! Finally! I am so happy for you. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the deal goes through.
Glad to hear that the chemo is going well (all things considered, “going well” is kind of a weird statement). I am constantly amazed at your positive attitude.
Enjoy the condo and have a blast! We miss you both!
BTW: Did you hear that “ginormous” is in the newest revised dictionary? I guess it’s not just a “Fargo thing” and has actually become a word. No more teasing Jamie!

Glad to hear things are going well, and you’re actually in town this week to enjoy the heat…ummm, the humidity….ummm, the thunderstorms…well, it IS Florida!
The C21TE Institute is this week, so I’m just waiting on Dawn to do some handouts and head over there for the first day of sessions. I’m going to be splitting time between here and MIT with Lindsey starting next month, so I’m looking forward to some new challenges in working with Blackboard and professors changing over to online courses.
Take care and enjoy your time on the beach!

Hi Shauna,
All the best!
Melissa told me you were in Tampa. I told Melissa to tell you “Hello” and she sent me your blog so I can say it personally. You are very brave and positive and really, I would not expect anything else from you
Enjoy the sunshine!
Ciao,
Oma

CONGRATULATIONS on unloading the house!!!! (: assuming it worked out
I’ll come help you celebrate at the beach! I mean, if you’re easily tired you might need assistance with this. I’ll even play hooky; it’s no problem to catch up with you and see how you’re doing, although from your last posts all the reports about your amazing positivity are true.
Wow, I really do hope your house deal went down!

Shauna and Scott,
As usual I get information later than sooner. No doubt due to my minimal computer skills.
For sure, you both are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep the faith and proceed towards your goal……All will be well!
Signed,
Mr. Gas
