Sorry that it has been so long since I posted here! I can not believe it has been 4 months! I know that many of you use this to keep up with what we are doing, so here is a quick run down.
We are enjoying Madison and staying busy with both work and looking at places to live. Both Scott and I are enjoying our jobs. They are challenging and keeping us quite busy.
The weather here has been quite wintery! Madison is having one of the snowiest and coldest winters in a long time. Some say that we must have brought it with us from Alaska, but we are not willing to take that rap! Two weeks ago we surpassed the current record for snow (http://www.madison.com/tct/news/272051) and it looks like more is coming (http://wkow.madison.com/Weather/).
Tuesday was my last day of radiation treatments. Now I have a few months to recuperate and get my life back. This is very refreshing! I am starting to feel better already. Thanks to all of you that have kept us in your thoughts and prayers. I am passed the worst of things and moving on to a normal life again.
Since October we have had visitors. My parents came to help out in November when I had my surgery. It was nice to see them and they were a great help. At that time we had little furniture, but got by with the beds and miscellaneous furniture borrowed from the trailer. Since then we have purchased some additional furniture and have the condo set up pretty well. We have a spare room and would love company if you are in the area.
The first week in April we will be traveling to Quebec so that Scott can play in the CARHA tournament again. We are looking forward to some time away.
If I have time in the next few days, I will upload some pictures to the gallery that will show our furnished condo, Christmas with the Schullos and maybe even a picture of my new short hair do.
Hope all is well with all of you. Be sure to keep in touch. - Scott and Shauna

Hi Shauna and Scott! I am happy to hear that the radiation treatments are over! It will be nice to get your life back on track! I love the pictures of your new condo, great colors and your tree is a bit fatter than the Alaskan ones! The snow pictures look a lot like Alaska now, 40 plus degrees! I did get your message during the hockey season, it made me “tear” up! We missed you guys too! Everyone is doing fine, Joe is working, Chelsea loves medical school, Nicole likes Vegas…and the boys, well they are happy being at home! When are you coming to visit Alaska? You just never know, we may pop in and see you one of these days!–take care, from the frozen ones!

You will really be ready to celebrate spring and the end of radiation. The worst is over. Do they know when they will start reconstruction? I am so excited for you. You have lots going on to look forward to. Take care. Enjoy spring. I am sure you will have flowers before our snow is gone.
Take care.

HI Scott & Shauna! I love reading about your adventures. Also great to hear you’re both happily employed, settled in a nice (really nice) home, moving on to restored health, and tooling around in a cool vehicle–very important
. I hope this year will be terrific for you.
Perhaps I will have to visit you if I need a break from the FL summer …
Take care … Ang

I just want to complain that your blog reduced my em dash to an en dash — I really do know correct punctuation!
